Sony TV controversial show Pehredaar Piya Ki's sequel gets a new title

Sony TV's new show starring Tejaswi Prakash is titled Rishta Likhenge Hum Naya.

Pehredaar Piya Ki opened a swarm of discussions on the current TV content. The makers of the show decided to pull the plug within a few days of the show going on air and promised to return with a sequel.

The show starring Tejaswi Prakash in the lead role is making a comeback but this time the title is Rishta Likhenge Hum Naya. The title seems to be a desperate attempt to salvage the controversy that the previous season had stirred. It seems like a fresh call for the audience.

Giving a new spin to the plot, Tejasswi will be seen playing the role of Diya and the story will revolve around her and the sacrifices she makes. Rohit Suchanti will play the role of Ratan Singh who will reportedly be foreign return.

The star cast has already begun shooting in parts of Rajasthan.

Earlier, it was reported that Khatron Ke Khiladi winner and dancer-choreographer Shantanu Maheshwari was supposed to play Ratan Singh but Shantanu refuted the news.

Meanwhile, the makers launched Yeh Un Dinon Ki Baat amidst much grandeur. The show takes us back to the '90s era and is currently enjoying a good fan base.
