After Rishta Likhenge Hum Naya, Tejasswi Prakash to make the lead in Star Plus new show?
Tejasswi Prakash has been roped in as the female lead in Star Plus' new mythological show.
Star Plus is back with a bang with its new mythological show. The show will be made by the makers of the popular shows Diya Aur Baati Hum, Pehredaar Piya Ki and Yeh Un Dinon Ki Baat Hai. The mythological show will be titled as Karn Sangini. Tejasswi Prakash will be playing the role of the female lead on this Star Plus show.
This would be Tejasswi's third show with Shashi Sumeet Production. This will be the first time the actress and Tejasswi will be trying the mythological genre. Prakash was last seen on SET India's show Rishta Likhenge Hum Naya, in which she played the lead role of Diya Ratan Singh. In the past, we have seen Prakash majority in a Rajasthani get-up but this time she will be seen in a whole new avatar. Fans will be thrilled to see her in an all-new style.
Talking to Times of India about this, Tejasswi said, “Yes, I have been approached for the part. I am in talks with the producers, but as of now, nothing is finalised.” While Tejasswi is roped for the female lead, the search for the male protagonist is still on.
As we know, Tejasswi’s last two shows were a failure to create the much-needed impact on the audience, this show would be a fresh start for her. But with such a unique concept the show seems promising. What do you think? let us know in the comments.
