Sachin Tendulkar's docu-drama Sachin: A Billion Dreams released on Friday and has been winning hearts at the box-office.

The docu-drama earned about INR 8.40 crore on the first day according to production figures. As per a leading trade website, the movie collected around INR 7.25 crore. And on the second day, the film collected INR 7.75 crore at the ticket window. The docu-drama has made a collection of INR 15 crore in two days and that's huge for a documentary film.

Given that it's about the God of Cricket, the film will surely earn more on the first weekend of its release. The movie has also released in Marathi, Tamil, Telugu and English, thus, the audience is sure to connect more with it. Also, since there is no major Bollywood release this week, Sachin: A Billion Dreams is sure to witness a huge surge in its weekend collections.

Coming to this week's Hollywood release Pirates of the Caribbean: Salazar's Revenge, the film has done an average business at the box-office. It earned about INR 4.25 crore on the opening day and INR 4.75 crore on Saturday, the total amounting to INR 9 crore.

It has beat the collections of its last film Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides, that had grossed INR 3.25 crore on its first day. The opening for Depp's movie is the third highest for a Hollywood film in India after Fast & Furious 8 and xXx - Return On Xander Cage.
