Sachin: A Billion Dreams: Ranveer Singh and other celebs attend the premiere

Ranveer Singh today attended the premiere of Sachin Tendulkar's movie Sachin: A Billion Dreams in Mumbai today. The movie traces Sachin's journey as he ruled the pitch for 24 years carrying the hopes and aspirations of a billion people and smashed records to attain his iconic position in cricket. It will give the audience a window into his real and personal life as they will also get to witness the various roles that Sachin plays in his day to day life.

Many bigwigs from B-town attended the screening today. Seen here are Ranveer Singh, John Abraham, Anupam Kher, Anil Kapoor, Sonu Nigam, Abhishek Kapoor, Dino Morea, Kabir Khan, Mini Mathur, AR Rahman, Arshad Warsi and Maria Goretti among others.

Helmed by Emmy-nominated James Erskine, Sachin: A Billion Dreams is all set to release on Friday. The film has already been declared tax-free in Kerala, Odisha, Maharashtra and Chhattisgarh.

Ranveer Singh had taken to Twitter to promote the movie. He shared a video saying that theatres are turning into stadiums. "Watch him in action and get inspired by him once again," said the vivacious star.

Sachin had replied to Ranveer saying, "A billion rounds of applause for this video! You always leave me speechless with your energy levels @ranveerofficial. Thanks for your wishes."
