Today in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, we see how a scared Puru Mama tries to steal Mansi's suicide note while she confronts his actions. Later, amidst Samarth and Gayatri's wedding ceremony, Kartik and Naira expose Puru Mama and hand him over to the police.

Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai April 23, 2019 Written Update: KaiRa exposes Puru Mama

In previous episode, we see how after KaiRa's plan fails, they come up with a new idea to expose Puru Mama. Later, a distraught Mansi threatens him of suicide while Anmol doesn't believe her. Puru Mama goes to Mansi’s room to look for the suicide note that Mansi had left blaming him for the act as he did not want to get trapped in some police case. As Puru Mama looked for the suicide note, Mansi confronts him and blames him for his evil act. Seeing Mansi play games with him, Puru Mama gets furious on Mansi and tells Mansi to remain quiet as her husband also did not trusted her.

Puru tells Mansi that in our country every girl faces teasing of some sorts sometime or the other in her life. He also tells Mansi how the society will only blame the girls of the family for pointing finger towards him. Kartik intervenes and gets furious at Puru Mama for his act as they had got everything recorded in their mobile phone. Kartik tells Puru to go down and tell everyone the truth just when Suhasini comes and takes the phone from Naira.

Suhasini tells Kartik that he will find her dead if he tried to expose Puru’s dark secret. Suhasini tells Naira and Kartik to remain quiet as she wouldn’t let them go against Puru and tells everyone to come and enjoy the marriage. Later, Samarth comes to Kartik and Naira and asks about their miseries as he found them lost in their own world. Naira and Kartik assured Samarth that they were going to make his marriage a wonderful affair. Later, Kartik tells Naira that he was thinking to tell Manish about Puru Mama’s act as he can call the cops to get Puru Mama arrested. Here, just as the varmala ceremony was about to start, Suhasini tells everyone to hold the ceremony as she wanted something else to happen. To everyone’s shock, Suhasini gets furious on Puru Mama and reveals his dark secret in front of everyone.

She tells Naira and Kartik to step forward and disclose the truth about Puru Mama to everyone. Kartika and Naira disclose every information and puts forth everything they knew about Puru Mama. After learning about everything, the Goenkas plan to call the cops and get Puru arrested. Illa stood heart-broken. Naira takes a shocking step and slaps Puru Mama. Naira calls the inspector who decides to takes Puru with them just when Illa comes forward and stops the inspector.

Puru gets a ray of hope seeing Illa stop the inspector however she blames Puru and expresses her disappointment towards him. Illa tells how she considered her father to be a hero and wanted the world to be like him, but after learning the truth she would consider her father to be dead. The inspector takes Puru with them and Illa apologises to Naira for her harsh words.
