Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai April 17, 2019 Written Update: Naira’s plan fails

In previous episode, we see how Puru Mama's daughter and Naira lock horns while Mansi struggles with the truth. At Gayu's Mehendi ceremony, Naira decides to confront Puru mama with proofs. The Singhanias and the Goenkas start their game of solving the riddles and gets divided into two teams. While playing the game, Naira finds Puru Mama intentionally touch some women present there and warns Puru Mama not to misbehave. The first round was to find the name of the bride and the groom’s name on the mehendi design. After the first round, the mehendi function begins with a dance performance of Kartik and Naira. Naira sees Lav-Kush having Mansi’s phone and texts Puru Mama from her phone that she will tell Naira everything.

Puru gets the text message and replies a very innocent text as he did not want to leave any proofs. Later, Puru calls Mansi which Naira picks up. Unaware of Naira’s plan, Puru tells Mansi that she was now married and she did not want to ruin her relationship with Anmol. Naira gets heart-broken to learn that the incident happened fifteen years back. Mansi comes to the party with Anmol and Naira stops Mansi at the door. Mansi gets nervous to see Naira stop her. Naira takes Mansi aside and hugs her which makes her curious. Naira tells Mansi that she knows Puru Mama misbehaved with her fifteen years ago and swears that she will expose him. Naira explains to Mansi that she had to stand up for her rights and tells her that she had to first tell Kartik about Puru Mama’s truth. Mansi denies to tell the truth however she wanted Mansi to stay strong and reveal the truth. Suhasini overhears Mansi and Naira’s conversation and tells Mansi to go inside to help Surekha.

Suhasini lashes out at Naira for targeting Puru Mama and tells Naira that she knew about Puru. Suhasini tells Naira that Mansi was a child then and she might have misunderstood his intentions. Naira tells Suhasini that she wanted to reveal the truth of Puru Mama while Suhasini tells Naira to keep quiet as relationships and business was at stake. Naira tells Suhasini how disappointed she was to know that she was told to keep quiet. Seeing Naira adamant, Suhasini falls on Naira’s feet to beg her to remain silent. Naira picks Suhasini up and apologises to her as she could not hide the truth from Kartik. Suhasini tells Naira not to spoil Mansi’s relationship by digging the truth which was buried fifteen years ago.
