Ssharad Malhotra receives a sweet keepsake from his producers!

On completion of 500 episodes of the TV show Bharat Ka Veer Putra – Maharana Pratap recently, the lead actor Ssharad Malhotraa received a special gift. It was a warm gesture on part of Abhimanyu and Rupali Singh, the producer duos of the show, to present Ssharad with a big poster of Maharana Pratap.

"It is one of the most beautiful surprises that I have ever got from my producers Rupali and Abhimanyu," says Sharad "It was a gift that I received on the set beautifully wrapped and the occasion was the completion of 500 episodes of Maharana Pratap and me personally completing one year on this Magnum Opus show. Such gestures are very moving and only make bonds stronger. It's an actor's delight to work with such producers who only pamper their actors but not spoil them."

Ssharad returned to TV with Maharana Pratap after a long break. His last TV sting was Banoo Mein Teri... Dulhan with former love interest Divyanka Tripathi. "It's been a dream come back on TV considering I was away for nearly four years. For me, playing Maharana Pratap onscreen is a larger than life kind of comeback. This is a character I will cherish all my life,” he states.

Talking about the best thing about the show, he says, "The show is very authentic and audiences relate to the story. The adulation I have got is phenomenal.”
