Ssharad Malhotra to play Anurag opposite Erica Fernandes in Kasautii Zindagii Kay remake?
Kasam Tere Pyar Ki fame Ssharad Malhotra has reportedly been signed to play Anurag in Kasautii Zindagii Kay remake.
Kasautii Zindagii Kay remake has been making a lot of buzz lately, mainly over numerous speculations of who will be playing the iconic characters from the original. While it is known that Erica Fernandes will be stepping into the shoes of Shweta Tiwari to play Prerna, Hina Khan will play Komolika, which was played by Urvashi Dholakia.
However, it is the speculations around who will play Anurag which has been making us go berserk. The tentative list which first started with Shaheer Sheikh went on to add names like Barun Sobti, Angad Bedi, Mohit Raina, Kushal Tandon. The latest name to appear on the list is Kasam Tere Pyaar Ki fame Ssharad Malhotra.
According to reports, Ssharad has been finalised for the role and is close to signing the show. Well, it will be interesting to see who finally fills in Anurag's show. Actor Cezanne Khan played the role of Anurag in the original show.
Moving over, rumour mills are also abuzz with names of Omkar Kapoor and Arslan Goni who might be a part of the show. However, their roles are yet not clear. Both the handsome hunks have earlier been part of Bollywood projects. While Aly Goni’s brother Arslan was seen in the film Jia Aur Jia alongside Richa Chaddha and Kalki Koechlin, Omkar Kapoor was a part of the Pyaar Ka Punchnama series.
