Qayamat Ki Raat featuring Vivek Dahiya and Karishma Tanna is one of the many supernatural TV shows along the lines of Naagin. The serial which went on air in mid-2018 gained popularity slowly for its compelling suspense element. However, there might be some disheartening news for fans as reports suggest that the makers of the show are all set to bid adieu to fans next month. Another supernatural series Divya-Drishti will replace the Star Plus show Qayamat Ki Raat. The promos of the new series are already on-air.

According to a report in Times of India, the new show will features Sana Sayyad, Sangeeta Ghosh and Mansi Srivastava in prominent roles. It is about a girl who sometimes gets possessed by a Devi. Qayamat Ki Raat, which premiered on June 23, 2018 was initially a finite series, but as it fetched good numbers on the TRP charts, the makers decided to continue with the show for longer period.

Earlier, Vivek in an exclusive chat had told us that he is constantly looking for a challenging role and was more than happy to be a part of this supernatural fantasy. Qayamat Ki Raat is Vivek's third collaboration with Ekta after Kavaach and Yeh Hai Mohabbatein. The show also saw its fair bit of controversy when the antagonist KalaSur played by Nirbhay Wadhwa got replaced owing to his tantrums and non-punctual behaviour.
