Mishal Raheja: Kay Kay Menon beat me up
Mishal Raheja gets chatty about his upcoming projects.
Actor Mishal Raheja recently shot for a short film, Sparsh, along with Kay Kay Menon. We hear that Ankoosh Bhatt, director of Bhendi Bazar, was shooting for the film and called Mishal to assist him in making this short film which revolves around the usual drama in the lives of Mumbaikars. And while doing so, he was offered a role in the film as well. Mishal says, "Kay Kay sir is a thorough gentleman. He had to beat me up and for the first time I was happy while getting beaten up (laughs)." Elaborating on his role Mishal says, "Its a small but tough role. Ankoosh had directed Prashant and I for Encounter and hence it was like a reunion for the three of us."
The actor came back to spotlight when he recently launched his production house under the banner Mangolake pictures that will be creating content & producing web-series & also episodics on GECs. Apparently the actor in his first web-series will be seen as a protagonist alongside other two friends he’s worked earlier; actors Dakssh Ajit Singh & Rohan Tiwari.
Mishal shared, "I wanted to act in one of my initial web series to just add to what I can offer, the initial pump. I’ve shared a great camaraderie with Dakssh & Rohan & they happily agreed to come on board. We’ve worked really hard on our research & content creation & had some really talented & creative minds from the very nascent stage."
