Vishal Karwal is back with Shaadi Vaadi
Vishal Karwal is back on television and on the same channel that raised him to stardom. First as a Roadie on MTV Roadies, then as a Splitsvillan on MTV Splitsvilla and now, he’s part of Bollywood director Nikhil Advani’s short film, Shaadi Vaadi on MTV Films.
After his Bigg Boss stint, he had a small appearance on Rangrasiya as Shantanu and in Shaadi Vaadi he gets to play the perfect and eligible bachelor Karan Jaitley all set to marry cheerful and bubbly Aahana played by Auritra Ghosh (Gayatri from Love Breakups and Zindagi). Well, playing the most eligible bachelor, quite suits Vishal, doesn’t it? The actor says, “It’s the first time I’m doing something different on television and I think MTV is doing a good job by showcasing such different kinds of short-films. Shooting for Shaadi Vaadi was wonderful as the crew was young and very energetic. Working with Nikhil Advani has been an enjoyable experience”.
The short film will also see Mishal Raheja of Laagi Tujhse Lagaan and Punar Vivaah make a comeback onscreen after a long time.
The film will air on MTV, 24th August at 8pm.
