Mishal Raheja elated as Donald Trump takes charge as the President of The United States of America

Actor Mishal Raheja is probably one of the few who seems to be on cloud nine post the US election results are out! He is extremely happy over Donald Trump's victory and is excited to see Trump overtaking as America's new president.

Well, Pinkvilla.com asked Mishal the reason behind supporting Trump, and he said, "‘I’m from a business background & have always been politically inclined as the elections will majorly reflect on the economy. It is important to be in the know of international trade. I’ve even recorded the Trump - Clinton debates. It surprised many but I was rooting for Trump and yes he won!"

The actor who had been closely following the elections had also hosted a small party for his friends wherein all they did was debated over the elections and rooted for Hilary Clinton while only Mishal supported Trump. Mishal added, "My friends were equally keeping a tab so I had invited them over. There was catching up, some serious discussions, rooting, good food, and lots of fun over politics."

The actor further tweeted about the Trump win stating, "Today is the day corruption gets the celestial whack and the possibility of economic growth to run the country has taken birth today in American and India. In a few years, I hope Donald Trump shows the world how to run a country by driving it's gross domestic product (GDP) and not by creating war and selling defense machinery. It's a good day! Trump has triumphed! Time to celebrate! #newhope #uselections2016"
