Victoria’s Secret’s iconic annual fashion show gets CANCELLED and you might never see one again; Deets inside

We’ve all known Victoria’s Secret for their iconic fashion shows with some of the best supermodels from the world walking the ramp. With trendy artists playing their famous tracks, the girls strut down in some of the most stunning lingerie. Moreover, these lingeries are also jewel encrusted with their worth crossing the sum of millions of dollars. 

However, in the recent few years, the show started receiving a lot of flak while also the viewership decreased to a whole new low making the brand question the whole show. 

Now, Victoria’s Secret fashion show has been officially cancelled as the company is working hard to save its reputation from the decrease in rating and all the flak it has received over the years due to diversity. The lingerie brand’s parent company, L Brands confirmed to the news after a long while since model and former ‘angel’ Shanina Shaik leaked the news saying, ‘Unfortunately, the Victoria's Secret show won't be happening this year,' adding to it she said, ‘It's something I'm not used to because every year around this time I'm training like an Angel.'

They made the decision because apart from the little rise in the sales in 2018’s first quarter, the lingerie brand is having a dip in them since the end of 2016. 

While the first show was first aired in 1995, in the past 23 years, the show got bigger and better with supermodels like Naomi Campbell, Kendall Jenner, Stephanie Seymour, and sisters Gigi and Bella Hadid walking the ramp. 

While the shows have been officially cancelled now, looks like Rihanna’s Savage X Fenty show will be the new sensation as it received a great amount of attention back at the New York Fashion Week.
