Victoria’s Secret Angel Adriana Lima broke down during her final walk for the lingerie brand

Victoria’s Secret’s fashion show is not just a regular fashion show but one which is filled with all sorts of drama and emotions. The high-voltage show was held in the Big Apple, New York City this time around. Although all of the VS shows are super memorable but this one is going to be etched in our memories as it was the last show for legendary VS angel Adriana Lima.
The 37 year old took to Instagram to announce her retirement from a show that made her a household name. The beauty was associated with the lingerie brand for a whole two decades. As Lima walked the VS runway for the last time she was received by the enthusiastic spectators who cheered her with a standing ovation. This gesture moved the mother of two as she teared up on the stage. She folded her hands and bowed down to the cheering crowd in gratitude.
Adriana looked absolutely spectacular wearing a sheer sequin top with pale blue underwear and Brian Atwood feathered heels. She ditched the classic wings and opted for a white feathered like fan piece which was attached to her back. The supermodel’s first ever show was in 1999 and this marked her 18th show for the gigantic brand.
Adriana announced her retirement with a sweet social media post with a caption which read, “Dear Victoria, Thank you for showing me the world, sharing your secrets, and most importantly not just giving me wings but teaching me to fly. And all the (love) to the best fans in the (world)! Love, Adriana”
The show paid a heart-warming tribute to the iconic angel by putting together a video montage of all the clips of Adriana’s journey in the past 20 years. The video ended with a “thank you” message and the screen went black and the stunner then made her appearance and walked down the runway.
She truly is an iconic angel and a supermodel one of a kind.
