Karlie Kloss revealed the real reason why she cut off from Victoria’s Secret

It came in as a shock to many when Karlie Kloss announced her sudden departure from the famous lingerie brand. Well, now seems like the model is a mood to spills some beans about the dissociation. In an interview with Vogue, the 26 year old spoke in detail about this. She enrolled in New York University’s Gallatin School to study feminist theory in 2015. 

It is at this time when she was studying that she realised that Victoria’s Secret didn’t align with her views. She said, “The reason I decided to stop working with Victoria's Secret was I didn’t feel it was an image that was truly reflective of who I am and the kind of message I want to send to young women around the world about what it means to be beautiful.” 

Karlie also further added that at that very moment she decided that her views should be reflected through her actions. Kloss also stated that she wants to make her own choices, whether it is through the companies she works with or through the images she puts out for the World to see. 

The young model has now forwayed into television with Project Runway. She also admitted that she did fear losing out on work if she vocalised her opinions. However, she is thankful that nothing of that sort happened. The stunner also said that she earned a lot of respect when she spoke her mind and that just boosted her confidence. “Only now do I have the confidence to stand tall -- all 6ft 2in of me -- and know the power of my voice," she concluded.
