One of the worlds most prestigious entertainment awards, The 90th academy awards aka Oscars too place in the LA today. The black-tie event witnesses the whose-who of the film industry step out looking their fanciest best as they grace the red carpet. 

Indigenous makeup and hair is something that is a part of an actors daily life, as they go through hours and hour of prosthetics or discussions on what their look would be like when they transform themselves into different characters. 

Hence, it comes as no surprise when these actors come up with grandeur hair and makeup look that is either elaborate or just the right pick for their look. Here is a look at the best beauty looks from the Oscars 2018 red carpet. 

1. Eiza González

Mustard Yellow and bright orange is a combination that never fails and Eiza González did just that, as she wore a fresh face of makeup with fluttery lashes and orange lips. 

2. Zoey Deutch

A huge eye makeup trend is burgundy eyes. Embracing just that was Zoey Deutch added a surprise element to her look with raspberry lips and burgundy eyes.

3. Taraji P. Henson

Taraji P. Henson slayed the red carpet as she looked sexy in a sheer black Vera Wang gown. She paired the look with silver smokey eyes and blackberry lipstick accentuated the vampy vibes of the look. 

4. Andra Day

While we are not the biggest fans of Andra Day's floral motif Zac Posen gown, we do love her beauty look. She was seen wearing a whispy rose gold eye with fluttery lashes and paired it with glossy lips. She further added lavender flowers in her high ponytail.

5. Margot Robbie

Margot Robbie picked a pristine white look for her red carpet appearance. She wore a silver eyeshadow ever so slightly dusted on her lids and paired it with nude lips. A flat iron wave gave finishing touches to the look. 

6. Jennifer Lawrence

Jennifer Lawrence channelled the disco era in her look. She was seen wearing a metallic gown that she paired with a black, graphic metallic smokey eye and used gold as a transition colour on the crease. Wild curls and burnt orange lips gave finishing touches to the look. 

7. Greta Gerwig

Just like actress Eiza González, director Greta Gerwig also went for the classic mustard yellow dress with a matte bright red lipstick combination. 

8. Jennifer Garner

Another one of our favourite looks from the night is Jennifer Garner's blue gown. Though we are not the biggest advocates of matchy-matchy, the blue mascara that Jennifer Garner wore looks sexy and dreamy. 

9. Zendaya

A top knot is always cool, neat, chic and no-fuss for the red carpet and Zendaya's top knot went perfectly well with her look. 

10. Gal Gadot 

Wonder women Gal Gadot looked wonderful (No pun intended) on the red carpet. She wore her hair in a French twist and paired it with raspberry lips. 

11. Emma Stone

Emma Stone wore a rather elaborate makeup look for the Oscars. She was seen wearing pink eyeshadow dusted over and under lids along with purple liner or her lid, textured eyebrows and nude lips. 

12. Nicole Kidman

 Nicole Kidman wore a classic blue dress that she paired with a cool tone red lip and fluttery lashes. 

13. Gina Rodriguez

Gina Rodriguez wore a beautiful Zuhair Murad gown on the red carpet which she paired with a sleek centre-parted low ponytail, textured eyebrows and nude lips. 

14. Lupita Nyong'o

The Black Panther star looked like a million bucks in her golden gown which she paired with metallic blue smokey eyes, bronze lip, and golden hair accessory.

15. Sandra Bullock 

Sandra Bullock wore fluffy brows and sleek hair and it looked incredible on the upcoming star of Ocean's 8. She also wore a smokey eye with gold dusted in the inner corner of her eyes.
