Team India has returned to Manchester after their clash against Afghanistan. They are all set to take on West Indies in their sixth match of the ICC World Cup 2019 at Old Trafford. The team has won four of its five matches in the tournament with the match against New Zealand getting washed out.

Many experts opine the fact that the current Indian team under Virat Kohli has the ability to go all the away and bring back the coveted trophy for the second time after 1983. A passionate cricketer he is, Virat Kohli posted a video on his official Instagram handle where he is seen lifting weights. He captioned it, "No days off. Nothing can be done without hardwork."

Here's the video:

No days off . Nothing can be done without hardwork.

Team India's skipper has contributed heavily towards his team's success. He has had scores of 18, 82, 77 and 67 in this tournament and the game against the West Indies at Old Trafford, Manchester might be the day where he might go on and get a big one. Recently, he became the 9th batsmen and the 3rd Indian batsmen to score 11000 runs in ODI cricket. Also, he has scored 41 hundreds and is second only to the little-master Sachin Tendulkar who has scored 49 tons.

Currently, Team India is placed at number three in the points table with nine points from five games. They need to win at least two of their remaining four games to secure a spot in the semi-finals of the tournament. If they carry on in the same way as they have done throughout the tournament it would be a matter of time before they go on and achieve this.

Upcoming assignments:

Against West Indies at Manchester on 27th June

Against England at Birmingham on 30th June

Against Bangladesh at Birmingham on 2nd July
