Met Gala 2019: Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth sparkle in green and black at fashion's biggest night

The extravagant 2019 Met Gala is underway and Hollywood stars from the West including musicians are sashaying down the pink carpet in New York. One of the star couples to have graced the pink carpet was Miley Cyrus and husband Liam Hemsworth. The couple who got married in private and low key ceremony in December 2018 made their first appearance as a married couple at the star studded high fashion event. While Miley is a Met Gala pro by now (this is her fourth time), it was all new for husband Liam. 

The couple, who isn't afraid to share their shenanigans on social media, documented their pre-gala preparations on Instagram Stories. Miley and Liam looked stunning. While Liam went for an all-black outfit, the pop singer chose an embellished green and black dress, blonde hair and diamonds for her evening look. 

For the “Camp: Notes on Fashion” themed event, the 26-year-old singer stepped up her game in a Yves Saint Laurent sequin striped dress and sheer black Swiss dot patterned leggings. She completed her look with an emerald and diamond bracelet that sparkled on the carpet. Liam, 29, showed off his sleek fashion sense looking dapper in head-to-toe black that perfectly matched his wife’s outfit, reported People. Miley's multiple tattoos too were on full display and we are completely in love with their formal and not-too-crazy look.
