I think I’m gonna miss these harbor lights, But it’s time to let it go,” suggest that Liam and Miley were having differences since quite sometime.
Despite the eyebrow-raising lyrics, a source told People exclusively that the 26-year-old pop singer “isn’t trying to hurt” her estranged husband. Reportedly, Miley's intentions with the song were not to bash Liam but share her side of the story. “Her song was her way of telling her story without having to say anything at all. She isn’t trying to bash him, but she wants to be able to share what she’s been going through." the source said.
“Miley is doing okay, It’s a relief the [breakup] news is out publicly so she can live her life and focus on herself," the source added. Just a day after Miley's rep confirmed the separation, Miley and her friend Kaitlynn were spotted vacationing in Lake Como in Italy. Their PDA-filled vacation sent her fans and the paparazzi into a tizzy. They, however, seemed to be unfazed with the media attention as they recently came together and grabbed lunch with Miley's mom Tish Cyrus in Los Angeles.
Liam, on the other hand, has been spending time with his brother Chris and family back home in Australia. He was spotted chilling at a local bar with close friends and on the beach.
