Nach Baliye 7: Kunwar Amar’s “Teen Ka Tadka” dance act scores a perfect 30!
The wild card entrants of the seventh edition of dance reality show ‘Nach Baliye’ - Mayuresh & Ajisha - were recently joined by Kunwar Amar in the teen ka tadka episode scoring a perfect 30.
Kunwar Amar’s popularity has only grown by leaps and bounds ever since he rose to recognition after his successful stint in ‘Dance India Dance’.
Kunwar admits that knew he had to score the perfect 30 while performing with them. The dancer-cum-actor says, “I had learnt that the couple had been top scorers right from their first performance and in fact had been getting back to back perfect scores so I had to match up to their level of finesse. Plus, I wanted to give my fans a rocking performance as they have been really looking forward to it and hence I wanted to give it my best. We got a standing ovation from all the 3 judges, which made the performance even more memorable.’
The contestants allotted merely 12 hours to prepare for the act! Throwing light on how it was easy to work with the duo, Kunwar says, “Mayuresh and I have come a long way. We began our dance journey from the same dance reality show. We were working towards our debut in the TV industry together. Dancers have this certain connection. We bonded pretty well. You’ll see the chemistry in our act.”
Despite the odd number of injuries suffered by Kunwar during the act, he says it is all a part of putting a great show. We could not agree more.
