Jodha-Akbar: Sharifuddin and Abul Mali planning to kill Jalal and abduct Jodha
There are conspiracies galore in Jodha-Akbar as Jalal’s bro-in-law Sharifuddin, who we know has the hots for Jodha Begum, has joined hands with Abul Mali to make his dreams come true.
Lately, Sharifuddin has forged ties with Jalal’s enemies to iron the Emperor out of the world for good. While we know that Abul Mali had earlier tried getting Jalal killed by sending the beautiful poison woman Benazir unto him, the plan met a dead end because of Jodha Begum’s timely intervention. However, Abul Mali’s ambitions have fired up again as Sharifuddin has joined hands with him now. Although initially, Abul Mali expressed a desire to kill Jodha along with Jalaluddin, the idea did not please Sharifuddin at all. Sharif tried persuading Abul Mali to spare Jalal’s Begums for him, and after some convincing, the latter conceded.
In the recent episode, we saw how a possessive Ruqaiya Begum played a trick on Jodha Begum, in order to test her intentions. The trick was to press Jodha Begum to accept the responsibilities of Harem. However, Jodha Begum gracefully refused to accept what she thought was Ruqaiya Begum’s right. Relieved with Jodha Begum’s stand, Ruqaiya reiterated to Mahamanga that a fearful Jodha can’t snatch her rights over the Harem as well as over Jalal.
Next, we will see Ruqaiya preparing for a special date with Jalal. But will Jodha Begum again spoil Begum Ruqaiya plans, albeit unknowingly?
