Jodha Akbar: Salim and Anarkali are moving ahead to write their love story

A chapter has begun in Zee TV’s Jodha Akbar as the new generation is taking forward the story slowly and gradually.

We all know that a grown up Prince Salim aka Jahangir (Ravi Bhatia) has returned to the Agra palace after living in exile for many years. This young, brave and charming prince has been getting a lot of attention from girls around him but he has set his heart on someone else. And then, there is Salim’s mother Jodha Begum, who is contemplating on fixing her son’s marriage with her royal niece Man Bai.

Salim, who is attracted towards his childhood foe, the commoner Anarkali (Heena Parmar), is ready to create history with his love story.

While Anarkali continues to nurse strong aversion towards the royal prince, Salim can be currently seen posing as a commoner named Qutub to woo his girl.

In the ongoing track, Salim goes out of his way to help his poor friend Farhan get married to his ladylove Bela, a tribal Princess.

Bela’s family makes all necessary arrangements to get her married to a rich guy and also sends invitation to King Jalal to maintain healthy relations with the Mughal emperor.

A heartbroken Farhan gets consoled by Salim (posing as Qutub) and Anarkali. The trio set out to abduct Bela from her marriage venue. On their way, Salim gets time to flirt with Anarkali and she too expresses a strong interest in him after getting impressed by his chivalrous comments.

Finally, the party reaches the wedding location and Salim barges in the tent to kidnap Bela. He lifts her on his shoulders and gives a tough fight to the tribal soldiers. This causes furor everywhere and the news of the mayhem reaches Jalal’s ears. Unaware of Jalal’s presence, Salim not only kills Bela’s groom but also manages an escape with Bela, Anarkali and Farhan.

However, Salim gets wounded on his back by an arrow fired at him.

The tribal king beseeches Jalal for Salim’s grave folly and demands blood to pay back for the sin committed by the Mughal heir.

Looks like Salim is in trouble again and this time it happens to be a serious one. What will happen next?
