All is not well between Suyyash Rai and Karan Wahi?

Television's much awaited Box Cricket League is all set to begin in a few weeks. Apart from the constant practice sessions what keeps the stars busy are the minor and major issues prevailing in between them. Recently, one such buzz of TV actor Suyyash Rai apparently being upset over the choice of new captain for his BCL team was doing rounds. That Karan Wahi was chosen over him as the leader of their team did not go down well with Rai who apart from being an actor is also a professional cricketer.

A source informs, “Suyyash was the skipper last year, but this time, most team members voted for Karan to lead them. They started early practice and since Suyyash was taking part in a reality show, he missed a few net sessions. The voting, however, took place in his presence and he was upset with the team’s decision. He even threatened to quit the league, but some of his teammates convinced him to stay back and take things in his stride.”

But rubbishing all such rumours, here is what Suyyash had to say."We have become closer now; there has never been an issue between Karan and me over the captaincy. I knew the team would have to make him the captain since I was on Bigg Boss at that time,” said Suyyash. But wasn’t the captain chosen just last week? “He was the captain from day one. He is the one who got the team together. And in any case, it doesn’t really matter. Even last year, all I really did was toss the coin before matches, but we captained together. There is no rift as such between us. In fact, we are playing for another cricket match together,” clarified the actor. Wahi too killed these the buzz calling them baseless. “What tiff are you talking about? I think we have much more important things that we can really fight about.”

The source, however, maintains that differences between the two actors have cropped up. “We will know more once the tournament begins.'' he states with confidence.
