Kapil Sharma is a legend, says Rajiv Thakur

The news of Kapil Sharma and team making a comeback with another laughter riot on Sony TV took the internet by storm recently.
The show that will include the old cast- Ali Asgar, Kiku Sharda, Simona Chakravarti, Chandan Prabhakar and Sunil Grover also will have new members on board. Comedians like Suresh Menon, Rajiv Thakur, Pranay Ganatra, Sugandha Mishra will be seen tickling the audience's funny bones. We caught up with Rajiv Thakur who have us a few insights on 'The Kapil Sharma show'.

"I simply expect to give out tons of Comedy! Comedy and Comedy!" said Rajiv. "I have known Kapil since college days. A creative person always wants to bring new changes in their work. Kapil also tries to bring in newer and fresh content in his work. Everytime Kapil has worked on something new, he has always gone a step ahead. And in comedy, Kapil is a legend! I am very sure that this show will go one step ahead of Comedy Nights with Kapil." While talking about his role in The Kapil Sharma Show, Rajiv said, "The old members are already on board. So the content will initially focus on new members as well. Whomsoever clicks it with the audiences, will be a complete part of the Kapil Sharma Show!"

Rajiv seems to be a busy man. He not just has the new comedy show, but is also neck-deep busy with promoting his team and practising for BCL. He along with Kamya Punjabi owns the Jaipur Raj Joshiley team. While further elaborating on it, Rajiv says that the practice sessions of the team are going on in full swing. "Everybody participating in BCL are strong players. We too are leaving no stone unturned in putting our best foot forward during practise. Everybody in the team has taken the competition seriously and are shedding blood and sweat to perform their best!" He further said, "I am concentrating on the performance of the girls in my team! I have noticed that girls are the game changer in the match." He said thatDevoleena and Mugdha have promised to put in their best and Kamya has geared herself up for the match and practise sessions. "Though, Kamya is getting a little tensed while playing the game after a gap of years. But she is trying her level best to give the best-desired output."

Rajiv wants the viewers to watch BCL simply for cricket. "Watch BCL for cricket this time. Watch the girls give tough competition to the guys. It will be fun for the viewers also to see their favourite Saas- Bahu's play cricket and fight like kids on the pitch!" And for fans of the new comedy show, he says, "Well, now I don't know what to say to the fans of Kapil Sharma's show. Kapil in himself is a huge brand so Uske show par hume zarur dekhiye!" laughs Rajiv.
