Shaleen Bhanot aka Duryodhan suffers serious while shooting for Suryaputra Karn!
Shaleen Bhanot aka Duryodhan of producer Siddharth Kumar Tewary's Suryaputra Karn got injured while shooting recently.
Describing the incident, Shaleen said,"I had to fight with ten people who are acting kings and Princes of different places who had come for the swayamvar of Bhanumati. I kidnap her and everybody try to stop me. We had to indulge in a fight during the sequence. While shooting, I got hit by a real sword. As a result, my hand got severely cut and swollen; but I still completed the entire sequence till the sunset. They rushed me to the doctor where he gave me an injection and a couple of medicines. I am lucky my knuckle joint did not crack."
Even earlier, Shaleen was injured while shooting for a horse riding sequence. "The show requires so much of physical strenght that it's very difficult. It is not like a typical soap. I am taking physiotherapy for my neck," he said.
Suryaputra Karna also stars TV star Gautam Rode.
