Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai actor Parul Chauhan REVEALS her wedding plans with Chirag Thakkar

Parul will be tying the knot with her boyfriend of three long years Chirag Thakkar on December 12 in Mumbai and will later host a reception in Lakhimpur in Uttar Pradesh.

Parul Chauhan, who is currently seen in Rajan Shahi's Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, is looking forward to her D-day as she is all set to tie the knot on December 12. Parul will be tying the knot with her boyfriend of three long years Chirag Thakkar in Mumbai and will later host a reception in Lakhimpur in Uttar Pradesh. The elated bride-to-be in a statement said, "Every girl is waiting for this day in her life, so my dream is coming true.The kind of guy I was looking for is going to be in my life forever. So, I am extremely happy."

Speaking about her wedding functions, Parul said that the Haldi and Mehndi ceremony will take place a day before her wedding. She added that they will tie the knot on December 12 morning at Iskcon temple and later to Siddhivinayak temple in the evening. "The reception will be on December 16 in UP's Lakhimpur. I have selected that place because it was not possible for all my relatives to come here. As for the reception in Mumbai, it is yet to be planned," said the actor.

On her wedding outfits, Parul said that she will be wearing a red Banarsi saree which was handed over to her by her maternal uncle. Whereas for the pre-wedding festivities the actor has chosen designer outfits. She added that Chirag will don the quintessential sherwani.

Looking forward to her big day, the actor said that she has a few surprises planned for her husband-to-be and will reveal it to him on the wedding day itself. The actor shared that the most important quality that she adores about Chirag is the fact that he respects each and every woman.

Speaking about the new phase of life which the actor will soon enter, Parul said, "I will try and manage everything as life won't be the same as before, but the plus point here is that not onIy do I know Chirag since three years but I also know his family since then. The family supports me." The actor also added that even though the wedding schedule is set in stone, the couple's honeymoon plans are not yet on the cards.
