Parul Chauhan, who is currently seen in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, tied the knot with her longtime boyfriend Chirag Thakkar on December 12. The newlyweds hosted a wedding reception in Lakhimpur in Uttar Pradesh yesterday which was attended by extended family members. Parul's close friends and actresses Shilpa Raizada and Tia Gandwani also attended. Parul wore a maroon velvet lehenga while Chirag wore a black suit. The couple looked stunning!
As the wedding reception was for the couple's extended family members, Parul was quite decked up in the best traditional way possible. The couple looked stunning and happy like never before. The pictures of the couple are doing rounds on the social media and they look every bit of royal. Meanwhile, the couple will be celebrating the new years together, which would also be their honeymoon. Before her marriage, Parul had revealed, "The reception will be on December 16 in UP's Lakhimpur. I have selected that place because it was not possible for all my relatives to come here. As for the reception in Mumbai, it is yet to be planned."
Speaking about entering a new phase of her life, Parul said, "I will try and manage everything as life won't be the same as before, but the plus point here is that not onIy do I know Chirag since three years but I also know his family since then. The family supports me."
