Jaya Bhattacharya REFUTES rumours of being bankrupt, says, 'I have never asked anyone for money'

Popular television actress Jaya Bhattacharya is leading a rough phase in her life right now, however, maintains hasn't gone bankrupt.

Jaya Bhattacharya, popular for roles in TV shows like Amber Dhara, Banoo Main Teri Dulhann, Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, Madhubala – Ek Ishq Ek Junoon, Bharat Ka Veer Putra – Maharana Pratap among others, recently made headlines after rumours of her turning bankrupt had gone viral. In an interview she had admitted to having been facing a dire situation, however, clarifying the rumours, Jaya in a fresh interview to The Times Of India said, "I don’t know how these stories circulated."

She further added that even though she had been going through a difficult time, she has never asked for any money from anyone. "Yes, I was going through some difficulty, but that does not mean I had gone bankrupt. I have never asked anyone for money. I am the only child of my parents and it is my responsibility to look after them. My mother was unwell a few months ago, but even then, I did not ask anyone for a loan, she added. 

She also opened up about her break up with director Mazahir Rahim which happened a few years ago. She said, "We lived together for seven years, but then we realised that we weren’t compatible. I don’t think I want to get married now or look for love. I am happy focusing on my work.” 

Jaya will next be seen in the serial Badho Bahu in which she will be seen playing an important cameo in the storyline which will bring a lot of drama in the upcoming episodes.
