Bigg Boss 7 fame Ratan Rajput's father passes away
Actress Ratan Rajput's father sadly passed away on January 3, 2018, due to a prolonged illness. The last rites were carried out on January 4 in the afternoon. Ratan Rajput became a household name as Laali in Agle Janam Mohe Bitiya Hi Kijo. She was last seen in Santoshi Maa.
Ratan Rajput who shot to fame as Laali in Agle Janam Mohe Bitiya Hi Kijo sadly lost her father to a prolonged illness, according to a leading television portal.
Her dad breathed his last on January 3, 2018. His last rites took place at Shiv Dham crematorium on January 4 in the afternoon.
Meanwhile, Ratan Rajput was last seen as Santoshi Dhairya Mishra in Santoshi Maa. The show aired on &TV and ran for two years from 2015-2017. The last episode aired on October 20, 2017. Santoshi Maa also starred Gracy Singh, Ayaz Ahmed, Sayantani Ghosh and Debina Bonnerjee.
Ratan is also known for her stint as a contestant in Bigg Boss 7. Unfortunately, she was evicted within four weeks. Season 7 included contestants like the late Pratyusha Banerjee, Kamya Punjabi, Kushal Tandon and BB 7 winner Gauahar Khan.
When a leading daily asked the actress if she regretted being a part of the show, Ratan revealed, "Yes, I hadn’t seen the earlier seasons, if I had I wouldn’t have taken it up! Now, I feel it was a wrong decision. I did not have any problem with the tasks — be it being plastered with cow dung, staying awake for 36 hours, etc, but I couldn’t handle the fakeness in people. However, I had gone into the house with a bet that I will propose to Salman Khan on national television, which I did! Now, I will win Rs 10 lakhs from a friend of mine."
"I need a psychiatrist. It was impossible to remain sane in that mad house," she added.
