Karan Kundra and Ratan in the remake of The Vampire Diaries
After Ekta Kapoor's adaptation of The Twilight Saga into Pyaar Kii Ye Ek Kahaani, one of her own creative heads Vikas Gupta who is now the Programming Head of MTV is coming up with a remake of another Vampire saga- The Vampire Diaries.
If media reports are to be believed Vikas is making an Indian version of the hit US series The Vampire Diaries for MTV with his two favorite stars Karan Kundra and Ratan Rajput. The original has Ian Somerhalder, Nina Dobrev and Paul Wesley in main roles. Vikas will produce the show under his banner Lost Boy Productions. This desi version will be called Fanaa and is slated to hit the tube next month.
Karan has a massive fan following and fans will love to see him in a fiction genre after a gap of almost three years! There are requests from the fans on social media pages to bring back Vivian DSena as well in the show as he became popular through Pyaar Kii Ye.. They want to see Karan and Vivian in the same frame.
Well, it will be very interesting to see how Ratan and Karan will pair up together for this unusual concept.
