Hum Paanch Phir Se: Here's the all new cast of the upcoming show
The new season Hum Paanch Phir Se all set to be out soon.
We all know that Hum Paanch is all set to be back on the tube soon. The third season will be titled Hum Paanch Phir Se and it will feature all new cast.
Now, a leading daily revealed the cast of the show. Actor Sooraj Thapar will be seen as Anand Mathur which was earlier played by Ashok Saraf. Whereas Vaishnavi McDonald will be stepping into the shoes of Priya Tendulkar and Seema Pandey will don the role of Beena which Shoma Anand played earlier.

Earlier, it was revealed that Jayashree Venkataramanan will be playing the iconic role of Kajal Bhai in the show.
However, unlike the last two seasons, Ekta Kapoor will not be producing the show. Instead, the show will be produced by Essel Vision Productions (Makers of shows like Maharakshak Devi and Dance India Dance).
A source informed the daily, "We will retain all the intrinsic elements and the format, but will give it a modern spin. The production house is in the process of finalising the cast, which will comprise new faces."
The 90s show had a simple storyline with amazing humour and sarcastic wit that kept the audience glued to their television screens. It had the cast of Ashok Saraf (Anand Mathur), Priya Tendulkar (Anand's first wife), Shoma Anand (Beena Mathur), Vidya Balan (Radhika Mathur), Rakhee Tandon (Sweety Mathur), Bhairavi Raichura (Kajal Mathur), Vandana Pathak (Meenakshi Mathur) and Priyanka Mehra (Chhoti) amongst others. The show made overnight stars out of all these actors and the sitcom is considered as one of the best comedies in Indian TV history.
