It was tough but had to take this decision: Ssharad Malhotra on quitting Comedy Nights Bachao Taaza
Ssharad Malhotra, who is playing the male lead in Kasam Tere Pyaar Ki, was juggling between Colors TV's show and Comedy Nights Bachao Taaza. He has finally decided to let go off CNB because he was finding it difficult to manage his time for both the shows and it was talking a toll on his health.
In an interview with an entertainment portal, Ssharad confirmed the news and said, "Yes. It's true. I have been doing two shows simultaneously where initially, I thought it can be managed. However, I realized that I am doing a daily soap which is male centric show and needs a lot of hours. At the same time, I have my film coming up and have been busy with promotions and other things. Hence, I had to take this decision."
Talking about his experience, he said, "It has been a lot of fun. It is something so challenging and I will cherish every bit of it. Doing a daily soap in front of a camera and putting up a stage performance in front of 100 plus people are two completely different things and I am glad to have experienced them both. While trying to strike a balance, the erratic working hours started taking a toll on my health too. Hence, it was a tough decision but I had to quit."
He added, "It has been such a joyride and I am going to miss it a lot. In fact, in near future, if and when time allows, I would love to get back to it. So hope for the best."
