The entire country is eagerly waiting for the clock strike to 2 PM to see India’s hero, Indian Air Force Wing Commander Abhinandan Varthaman return to his homeland. The Wing Commander will return home after him being held by the Pakistan Army, as his MIG 21 crashed in the neighbouring country 2 days back. Post holding him as a prisoner, Pakistan army released a video where the nation saw Wing Commander being injured and his nose bleeding. Seeing him in that state, surely left everyone in pain. However, the good news came yesterday via Pakistan’s Prime Minister, Imran Khan that they have decided to release Wing Commander Abhinandan Varthaman as a gesture of peace. 

This news sent a wave of joy across the entire country. However, amidst all this, Abhinandan’s sister penned her emotions in the form of a letter that completely sums up everything that happened in the past 2 days. One of the Indian Army’s Officers, Captain Manivannan took to Twitter to share the emotional account of Wing Commander’s sister and it surely will leave everyone teary eyed. 

Post the announcement of IAF Wing Commander Abhinandan’s release, his parents have already reached Amritsar to meet their son. They received a standing ovation and massive respect from all the passengers on board. Even Bollywood stars have been tweeting since yesterday and have been eagerly awaiting Abhinandan’s return at Wagah Border.
