We got in touch with Soni Razdan to know her reaction on IAF Wing Commander Abhinandan's release. She is happy and feels it’s a positive signal.
India and Pakistan’s conflict dates back to history. Yesterday, the news of IAF wing commander Varthaman Abhinandan being in Pakistan’s custody created a stir. Bollywood celebs have also tweeted appreciating the bravery of the IAF wing commander. From Amitabh Bachchan to Ranveer Singh, everyone is saying no to the war and are praying for Abhinandan’s family. Now, as a peace gesture, the Pakistani Government will release him tomorrow. Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan, in a statement, said, “As a peace gesture we are releasing Wing Commander Abhinandan tomorrow.”
We got in touch with Soni Razdan to know her reaction on IAF Wing Commander Abhinandan's release. She told us, “I am so happy that this has happened and I am still trying to absorb it. This is such a wonderful gesture on the amount of Imran Khan. I find this as a very positive signal. I would love that all the issues should get resolved. We should also be dignified about it because they have been and we should reciprocate to it.”
It’s surely happy news. Imran Khan wants India to not escalate the matter now and wants to sit across the table to discuss the issues of terrorism. It’s a positive signal from Pakistan. “I hope the international community will play its part to ensure the situation does not escalate beyond this,” Pakistan prime minister said.
