India vs West Indies: Kieron Pollard, Sunil Narine back in Windies T20 squad

Experienced campaigners, Kieron Pollard and Sunil Narine are back as West Indies announced the squad for first two T20Is against India, starting from August 2nd at Florida.
The duo hasn’t been around for a while for Men in Maroon, however, with their inclusion, Windies will go with a very balanced side in this series.
Pollard was exceptional for Mumbai Indians earlier this year, playing a part in bringing home the fourth Indian Premier League trophy. Pertinently, Narine also showed some touch for Kolkata Knight Riders.
Both are now set to hit the floors for West Indies. “This squad is an excellent balance of experience and youth,” said the interim chairman of the CWI Selection Panel, Robert Haynes.
“It’s not just about the present – the India Tour of the West Indies – but we are also looking at the T20 World Cup coming up next year and it is important that we find the right combination of players and the right formula for defending our title.
“We have to make sure that we put certain things in place now, so that when it comes to picking the squad for the T20 World Cup, it becomes easier, so we are giving more players the opportunity to play and get the exposure.”
