In Pics: Star Plus’s new show ‘Sumit Sambhal Lega’ is an adaptation of ‘Everybody Loves Raymond’!

Star Plus is soon going to launch its new sitcom ‘Sumit Sambhal Lega’ which translates into ‘Sumit will handles everything’ in Hindi. It has been adapted from the famous series ‘Everybody Loves Raymond, and buzz has it that the writer who penned the script of the original series by Warner Brothers, Steve Skrovan,has been brought on board for ‘Sumit Sambhal Lega’ as well.

The cast of the show comprising Namit Das, who plays the titular role in the show, was recently in New Delhi for a promotional event. Manasi Parekh Gohil, Namit Das, Bharati Achrekar, Satish Kaushik and Vikram Kochhar interacted actively with the press at the event named “Meet the Walias.”

For the curious readers, here’s a quick dekko at the story of the upcoming daily series. The story revolves around the protagonist Sumit. He is not serious about his life and barely takes a firm decision. Even problematic situations fail to make him serious. He has a wife and kids, but is far from being a responsible married man. Now, if such is the state of Sumit, we wonder how he will life up to the title of the show! This is something we are eager to watch.
