Happy Birthday Ranveer Singh: Rare times when the Bajirao of Bollywood dressed sober and won us over

If this quote holds true or is lived by someone then it has to be the powerhouse of talent Ranveer Singh. The actor blew off everyone’s mind with his very first movie Band Baaja Baaraat and became a star overnight. This charming lad apart from his acting chops is known for his mad and crazy dressing sense. His wild style is not hidden from the world, from wearing a condom silhouette outfit to donning skirts to sporting velvet pink and purple tracksuits, our boy here has done it all.

Singh is the pioneer of blurring the lines between men's and women’s fashion styles and tastes. His stylist, Nitasha Gaurav had previously shared in her interview that the only mantra these two follow is, “If you like it, wear it,” and we have proof. If we run back our memory a bit, Ranveer wore a jazzy and heavily sequined baby pink, aztec print Manish Arora bomber jacket. The fashion piece was originally showcased by a female model at the Paris Fashion Week. Infact, Karan Johar in a press conference credited Ranveer for pushing the envelope for men’s fashion in India. Karan said, “Fortunately with the presence of Ranveer Singh in the industry, people will accept every trend because he has raised the fashion bar so high. I applaud him and I adore him for completely taking men's fashion to an all new different level. He is the brand ambassador of edgy fashion,” and we couldn’t have agreed more. Though everyone’s spoken about his crazy and creative side when it comes to dressing up; there have also been times when the actor has dressed sober and killed up with his addictive looks. 50 shades of Ranveer Singh

This dapper lad wore an all grey suit featuring different shades and tints of the colour and balancing the look out with white shoes and a crisp shirt. Staying true to his style he threw in a pair of silver framed sunglasses and we absolutely love it!!

The pastel effect

This has to be one of our most favourite looks of his. Singh wore a pastel ice blue suit and teamed it with a white shirt and a marsala running strip along the length of the shirt. 

Hello there, handsome!

Ranveer Singh accompanied ladylove Deepika Padukone after returning from their vacation. The 33 year old donned a dark grey suit and again teamed it with a white shirt and black shiny shoes. To continue his fun streak, the suit featured standout details on one side.

Why go the montonous way when suits can be a whole lot fun too? Ranveer donned this Tom Ford attire which featured a patterned blue blazer. Perfectly gelled hair with a super flashy smile completed his look out.

Ranveer Singh donned this Rohit Gandhi and Rahul Khanna three piece suit which he teamed with a checkered grey shirt. What we absolutely love is how he added the midnight blue polka dot tie to his attire to up the style quotient.

Who says that sober and formal suits cannot be in colour? Ranveer wore a head to toe blue suit which he paired with a dark midnight blue shirt and..wait for it, slides. Yes the actor bridged the gap between formal and casual wear. He wore his suit with a pair of comfortable slides and we're loving every bit of it. 

Semi formal contemporary suit? We approve!
