American President Donald Trump’s daughter Ivanka Trump’s clothing line is shutting down
Since Ivanka Trump is the First Daughter, she is also serving as the Assistant to the President
Ever since Donald Trump became the President of America, the Trump Dynasty is facing a major fall-down. The latest on the page is that Ivanka Trump’s clothing line is shutting down. Since Ivanka is the First Daughter, she is also serving as the Assistant to the President in the White House. Her brand has since then faced a lot of backlash, boycotts and lawsuits.
In a statement, Ivanka told the publication, “When we first started this brand, no one could have predicted the success that we would achieve. After 17 months in Washington, I do not know when or if I will ever return to the business, but I do know that my focus for the foreseeable future will be the work I am doing here in Washington, so making this decision now is the only fair outcome for my team and partners."
Over the last year, major brands like Nordstrom and Neiman Marcus stopped selling her products and recently, even Hudson’s Bay Company dropped the brand from their store. Hudson Bay Company’s current President, Abigail Klem in a statement said, "I know that this was a very difficult decision for Ivanka and I am very grateful for the opportunity to have led such a talented and committed team. When faced with the most unique circumstances, the team displayed strength and optimism."
Well, only time will tell how is Invaka Trump's clothing line fated.
