It’s the season for summer weddings which means we’re going to see a whole lot of flowy lehengas and breezy silhouettes making a comeback. Gone are the days of going all out with lush fabrics and embroideries, it’s time to keep things simple in easy yet statement-making pieces and from what we’ve seen so far, the Ok Jaanu actress, Shraddha Kapoor is definitely winning in this area.
The actress who was in Maldives attending her brother’s wedding by the blue waters made sure to look her best at the exotic location. She definitely looked like a breath of fresh air as she picked out a pale blue embroidered lehenga by PadmaSitaa for the wedding. The lehenga was a statement in its own in a gold embroidered lehenga and blouse. While these pieces were pretty heavy, Ms Kapoor made sure to balance it out right with a breezy blue dupatta.
Considering that it was a close family member’s wedding, she did go down the OTT lane and picked out an equally statement-making choker and accessorised further with pair of drop earrings. From what we’ve noticed so far, Shraddha knows all the right tricks to balance out a look and without going overboard, she styled the look with a sleek ponytail that felt like a perfect option for the sunny summer day. Makeup confined to neutral shades completed her look and we’re definitely taking style cues for the season.
