London Fashion Week: The Queen of England ditched her throne and graced the front row in all her royal glory
The Queen Turned Up To London Fashion Week To Present Richard Quinn With An Award
After the hustle bustle of New York Fashion Week was over, all eyes were glued to London Fashion Week that ends today. The Royals have really been showing some active participation in the ongoing fashion galore. After The Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton hosted the event for the Commonwealth Fashion Exchange on behalf of the Queen, the queen herself stepped out to grace the front row at London Fashion Week.
Yes, you heard that right, not Kate, not Naomi, not Beyonce, not Bebo but the Queen of England, in all her royal glory. The 91-year-old attended Richard Quinn's fashion show on the last day of Fashion Week. Her Majesty graced the front row and presented the inaugural Queen Elizabeth II Award for British Design designer Richard Quinn.
As Quinn spoke to a popular fashion portal post the show he said that despite knowing she was going to attend several days ago, Quinn couldn't quite believe what had just happened.
'I feel really overwhelmed actually,' he said. 'It's kind of surreal. I knew one or two days ago, but until it actually happens you're a bit like 'oh it is real'. It's insane.'
