Kate Hudson launches Happy x Nature; an eco friendly fashion brand with a bohemian feel

Popular actress Kate Hudson has some exciting news up her sleeve! The entrepreneur and actress just launched her own label Happy x Nature, a brand that focuses on making garments from natural fibres. Hudson is clearly on an eco-friendly mission here!

The collection starts from $45 and goes up to $150. It is available online and has been created from sustainable materials like crushed plastic bottles, biodegradable bags, etc. The collection has a range of tops, jeans, skirts, trousers, jumpsuits, jackets, etc. and has a bohemian feel to it.

In an interview with Marie Claire magazine, Hudson said, "Authenticity is so important to me because I'm not going to stand behind something if I myself don't wear it". And when questioned about the name of the brand, Hudson said that she feels good when she hears the word happy. So when her partner Danny Fukikawa said, Happy by Nature is what people thought Hudson was, she thought it was a good name for the brand. 

In her collection, there is even a dress named after Hudson's mother Goldie Hawn! A sunshine yellow dress that spells out summer and something one would think of wearing on vacation! "We like to call this collection statement casual because we want the clothes to feel like everyday wear but still catch people's eyes", Hudson said about her bohemian line that has an earthy colour palatte with loads of floral prints. With the brand, she is also trying to build an online community with its "HxN Club", which is an online space that offers styling tips and more to customers.
