Do you’ll remember when recently International pop star Jennifer Lopez glided down the runway in the most stunning green dress by Versace? Well, yes, that one! The internet literally exploded and everyone was talking only and only about it. There is absolutely no doubt that her body is to die for but the dress needs equal attention and applauds. The Versace dress was the reinvention of JLo's own 2000's Grammy Awards dress. While imitation indeed is the highest form of flattery, when it comes to business it takes a different route.

There are a lot of online and brick and mortar brands who are known for copying and selling designs by luxury labels for dirt cheap prices. This becomes a major reason why they become so popular with the consumers. Well, Fashionova is now coming under fire for copying the iconic dress. The Italian fashion house on Tuesday stated that they'll be suing the brand and also slapped a lawsuit for plagiarism. Fashion Nova has been selling the outfit named, "Love Don't Cost a Thing" for $69.99. Interestingly till Tuesday morning the outfit was up for grabs but now it shows "sold out" in all sizes. It is apparently reported that Versace has even given a warning to this fast fashion brand back in July but the fast fashion brand continued to ignore it. Let's just wait and see how the story unfolds.
