Here is a look at Dior's Paris Fashion Week autumn/winter '18 collection
After a round of the much talked about New York Fashion Week, London Fashion Week and Milan Fashion Week, the fashion troops are now in Paris at the Paris Fashion Week. Paris Fashion Week will be held from 27 Feb 2018 – 6 Mar 2018.
Kicking off Paris Fashion Week with a bang, Dior presented it's autumn/winter '18 presentation. In the show, creative director of Dior Maria Grazia has not shied away from speaking up about the global wave of women's marches.
"Take a look back to a time a half-century ago when revolutionary thoughts and actions were placing the power and energy of youth centre stage and influencing generations to come. For Autumn-Winter 2018-2019, Maria Grazia Chiuri tapped into this anniversary, reinventing and reimagining the legacy of those heady times," Dior wrote, sharing the inspiration behind its show on Instagram.
The exterior of the show space, which was held at Musée Rodin, was covered in a collage of protest signs reading things like Hillary Clinton's famous 1995 quote, "Women's Rights Are Human Rights." Inside, the runway set echoed the same sentiment and was wallpapered with a collage of protest signs, feminist slogans and fashion magazine cutouts all from 1968 (including a few vintage Harper's BAZAAR magazine cutouts too).
The runway showcased many 60's inspired outfits such as patchwork pieces, mini skirts, boots and dresses. There were also a shag coat, paisley-like prints and colourful lensed sunglasses. All the looks were capped off with the trendy black newsboy cap. Here is a look at the collection:

Dior first kicked off the feminism inspired collection with it's "We Should All Be Feminist" slogan tees that took over the street style scene was seen on many Bollywood divas too, such as, Anushka Sharma, Alia Bhatt, Deepika Padukone and more.
