Ariana Grande has been labelled as the latest face of THIS luxury brand

One of the most influential forces of pop culture today, Ariana Grande has been announced as the latest face of luxury fashion brand Givenchy. The past stars of the brand include Bella Hadid, Naomi Campbell and Rooney Mara. Grande will make her debut in the brand's fall-winter 2019 campaign which will be held in July. 

In a press release, Givenchy let out its reasons for selecting Grande as the newest face of the brand. They called Grande "A modern muse and the voice of a generation" and went on to say that "A Grammy award-winning performer, songwriter and singer, she naturally embodies the spirit of the Givenchy woman with impertinence, generosity and a lightning wit - all cloaked in a touch of mystery."

Ariana also talked about how proud she felt to be associated with the brand. "It is a house I have forever admired and now to be a part of that family is such an honour. I love this clothing and the confidence and joy it brings to the people wearing it," she said. She also complimented the clothing by calling it timeless and beautiful and said that she is proud to work with a brand which makes people feel celebrated for who they are. 

Just before the release, Givenchy posted a number of teasers and didn't outrightly name Ariana but there were clips of her iconic ponytail which made it easy to guess. They even asked people to guess who the latest face was and pretty much everybody who guessed, was right!
