Emmys 2019: Best and Worst dressed stars from the purple carpet of the elite award show

The glitzy and glamourous awards season has officially kicked in and what better way than to start it with the prestigious 71st Primetime Emmys Awards 2019. The who’s who and the big wheels from the television and glamour industry came under one roof for the night. With it being a super gala affair. Let’s find out the best and worst dressed from Emmys 2019. 

Emilia Clarke 

Making heads turn at the Emmys was our very own Clarke who dressed in a stunning black Valentino piece. The 32-year-old’s gown featured a deep plunging cut-out V-neckline and an attached flowing skirt with a short train and a bow cinching her waist. The Mad Queen stuck true to her minimalistic style and opted for a center parted sleek hairdo, filled in brows, winged eyeliner, deep dark lips and studded dangler earrings. We are crushing over her entire look and think that she pulled it off really well. 

Sophie Turner

Starting off with Sophie, the newly married star walked in minus her beau. She looked absolutely gorgeous in a champagne hued creation. He outfit featured a deep V-neckline with a corset like bustier which was attached to a drape skirt with a front slit from Louis Vuitton. She styled her look adding an old world Hollywood charm with a diamond choker, a pulled back half up-half down ponytail, light hued smokey eyes, a nude lip and silver strappy heels. We love the look from head to toe.

Maisie Williams 

Following on, we have Sophie’s on-screen baby sister and real life best friend, Maisie Williams who made a pretty splash at the red carpet. The actress was dressed in a black asymmetrical dress by JW Anderson. Her outfit bored a deep V neckline with half the outfit encrusted with scattered sequins and the other part was solid black. She styled her look with her signature bangs and black pointy toe stilettos with a chunky brooch. Filled in brows and a dark deep lip completed her look.

Zendaya 

The beautiful Zendaya walked the purple carpet of the prestigious Emmys Awards and looked gorgeous in a Vera Wang outfit. Her look screamed sexy as it featured a strapless sweetheart neckline skin-coloured bustier with satin green detailing on it, attached with a long flowing asymmetrical skirt with a thigh high cut out and a short train. She styled her look with 60s inspired Hollywood hairstyle, diamond dangler earrings, a diamond bracelet, satin pointy toed stilettos, black smokey eyes and nude makeup. The look is definitely bold but we think she could have picked something better.

Mandy Moore 

Bringing 90s back and how! Our favourite Mandy Moore spelled magic at the red carpet in her Brandon Maxwell attire. The ‘This is Us’ actress stole our hearts with her breathtakingly beautiful appearance. Her outfit flaunted her perfectly toned shoulders in a satin pink bardot top with a deep neckline attached to an orange-red skirt with a short train and a thigh high slit. Minimal accessory with brushed open hair, brown smokey eyes and a nude lip finished off her stunning look. 

Kendall Jenner in Richard Quinn 

Kendall Jenner walked in with her sister Kim Kardashian West. Kendall served us a captivating look in a Richard Quinn number. Her look included a black high neck latex full sleeves top, layered with a rose printed sweetheart neckline gown which showed off her perfectly toned body beautifully. The mermaid silhouette gown bloomed in a beautiful gathered pattern from knee onwards and swept in a short train. She further on styled her look with a center parted sleek hairdo, perfectly caked face and a glossy lip.

Gwendoline Christine in Dior 

Ser Brienne of Tarth arrived and how. Gwendoline glided down the purple red carpet and made everyone sit back and take notice of her. The GOT star donned an off white and red silk robe outfit from Dior with light surface embellishments on it in gold thread work. She styled her look with heavy beach wavy hair, dangler earrings and a bold red lip. The dress looks more like a costume but kudos to her for choosing to opt something like this. 

Kim Kardashian West in Vivienne Westwood 

Reality star, Kim Kardashian West graced the purple carpet too. After her incredible appearance at the MET Gala we expected much more from Kim. She opted for a jet black body hugging number true to her style which accentuated her curves. She styled her look with diamond studded chains, brushed open beach wavy hair and her signature nude face of makeup.

Halsey in Rami Kadi 

Closer singer Halsey looked like a dream in her Rami Kadi number. She opted for a strapless pink multi-toned feathered number which looked extremely enchanting. Halsey kept her look minimal with a up hairdo, pink lips and dangler studded earrings. Love it!
