Pakistan won a one-sided game against South Africa in the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019
An all-round display from Pakistan helped the Asian side beat South Africa by 49 runs to keep their semi-final chances alive in the Cricket World Cup 2019. The Proteas, on the other hand, have now become the second team after Afghanistan to crash out of the edition. They were poor right throughout and were unable to pull their socks up in a do-or-die game against Pakistan.
Opting to bat first, the Asian side notched up more than 300 runs on the board, courtesy a quickfire knock from Haris Sohail. With crucial contributions from Babar Azam, Fakhar Zaman and Imam-ul-Haq, the Pakistanis notched up an above-par total, which was easily defended by their bowlers. Mohammad Amir was the star with the ball once again for them.
