To celebrate his brother Anand Deverakonda's birthday, VD also released a new song from the upcoming film, Pushpaka Vimanam.
Vijay Deverakonda's brother and actor Anand Deverakonda turns a year older today, March 15. The Arjun Reddy star took to Twitter and penned an emotional yet sweet birthday note for his little brother. Wishing his 'childhood cricket partner', Vijay Deverakonda wrote, "I love you - My childhood cricket partner, my school junior, my cheer team, crisis handler, now colleague, forever brother...Happy Birthday @ananddeverkonda- so glad I’ve had you through everything!."
To celebrate his brother's birthday, VD also released a new song from the upcoming film, Pushpaka Vimanam. Titled Silakaa, the first lyrical song from the film is out. The upcoming Telugu film is being directed by Damodar. Vijay Deverakonda’s King of the Hill Productions and Tanga Productions is bankrolling the project. Anand made his acting debut with 2019's Dorasaani. His second film Middle Class Melodies released last year and if managed to win hearts of the audience.

Earlier, Anand Deverakonda opened up about being compared to his brother in a lot of ways. "I have faced comparisons and criticism you are talking about...Some of them gave it constructively, which I take and learn from but most of them come from really negative places, especially on social media. I have faced it and I'm ready for the comparisons as an actor but I don't think they should be comparing Vijay Vs Anand Deverakonda," he said during an exclusive interview with Pnkvilla.
