RRR: Alia Bhatt as Sita in traditional first look is incredible and her wait for Ramaraju will be legendary
Today, on the occasion of Alia Bhatt's birthday, the makers of Jr NTR and Ram Charan starter RRR have unveiled the first look of the actress as Sita.
Bollywood actress Alia Bhatt is making her Telugu cinema debut with SS Rajamouli’s magnum opus, RRR. Starring Ram Charan and Jr NTR in the lead roles, RRR is said to be a fictional story set in the 1920s pre-independent era. The film has been the talk of the town for a lot of reasons. Be it Ram Charan, Jr NTR's first look or international actors in the pivotal roles, RRR has managed to stay in the limelight since its inception. Today, on the occasion of Alia Bhatt's birthday, the makers of RRR have unveiled the first look of the actress as Sita.
One can see in the first look, Alia looks mesmerising in the traditional avatar and she is the epitome of strong will and resolve. Sharing Alia's first look as Sita, Ram Charan wrote on Twitter, "She adds meaning to Ramaraju's mission! Meet my #Sita, a woman of strong will and resolve." Alia, earlier, during an interview said that shooting for this film was a very different experience as she had to shoot even in Telugu, which was a new language for her. She left no stone to ace the character and learn the language as she literally lived with the lines for a year and a half. Well, looks like all her hard work has paid off and the first look tells it all.

Earlier, welcoming Alia Bhatt on the sets in Hyderabad in December, the makers had tweeted, "A very warm welcome to our dearest #Sita, the supremely talented and beautiful @aliaa08 on to the sets of #RRRMovie! #AliaBhatt (sic)."
The upcoming Pan-India film will showcase the lives of two well-known revolutionaries – Alluri Sitarama Raju and Komaram Bheem played by the lead actors. Ajay Devgn is also a part of the film and reportedly, he is playing a very important role. Ray Stevenson, Alison Doody and Olivia Morris are the international stars who are also a part of SS Rajamouli's mega project.
DVV Danayya is backing this multi starrer project under his banner DVV Entertainments. MM Keeravani is onboard for the film's music. RRR releases on October 13, 2021.
