The first song from Vijay Deverakonda's forthcoming sports drama Liger will be out soon. Titled Akdi Pakdi, the track has been composed by Lijo George-Dj Chetas. This peppy number is scheduled to be out on 11th July. The announcement poster shows Vijay Deverakonda in a red blazer, trying to help co-star Ananya Pandey whistle. This track has been shot in a pub setting. The promo of Akdi Pakdi will be available on 8th July. 

Dev Negi, Pawni Pandey, and Lijo George have crooned the Hindi version of the song and the lyrics of it have been penned by Mohsin Shaikh and Azeem Dayani. Meanwhile, Anurag Kulkarni and Ramya Behara have lent vocals to the Telugu versions of the song and Bhaskarabhatla Ravikumar has provided the lyrics. Now coming to the Tamil version, written by Sagar, Sagar and Vaishnavi Kovvuri have sung the track. Santosh Venky and Sangeetha Ravichandranath are the singers for the Kannada version of the song written by Varadaraj Chikkaballapura.

Puri Jagannadh has directed the film which stars Ramya Krishnan, Ronit Roy, Vishu Reddy, Ali, Makarand Desh Pandey, and Getup Srinu in secondary roles.

Liger has been jointly financed on a massive scale by Bollywood's leading production house Dharma Productions, in association with Puri Jagannadh, Charmme Kaur, and Apoorva Mehta.

Vishnu Sarma is the cinematographer for this action entertainer, while Junaid Siddiqui has looked after the editing department. Mani Sharma is on board the team as the music director. 

Made in multiple languages including Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam, this Pan India movie will release in theatres worldwide on 25th August this year. 

Furthermore, Vijay Deverakonda has another pan-India venture Jana Mana Gana in the making.
