Mani Ratnam's film Vaanam Kottatum under the banner of Madaras Talkies has kick started its shooting in Chennai. This film is directed by Dhana, of Padaiveeran fame.
Mani Ratnam's film Vaanam Kottatum under the banner of Madaras Talkies has kick started its shooting in Chennai. This film has three lead stars. Vikram Prabhu, Aishwarya Rajesh and Madonna Sebastian will star in Mani Ratnam's film Vaanam Kottatum. This film is directed by Dhana, of Padaiveeran fame. Actors Radikaa and Sarath Kumar will essay the roles of Vikram Prabhu's parents. The duo has come together in a film after a gap of almost 20 years. The film is produced by Madras Talkies in association with Lyca Productions.
As per reports, actor Shanthanu Bhagyaraj has joined the star cast of the film, Vaanam Kottatum. This film will also have actor Amitash Pradhan playing a key role. Meanwhile, Vikram Prabhu has started shooting for Vaanam Kottatum, and the actor was last seen in the film called Thuppakki Munai. Shanthanu also acted in films like Koditta Idangalai Nirappuga and Mupparimanam. The actor is looking forward to work with director Dhana, who has also co-written this film with Mani Ratnam.
The music direction is given by well-known singer Sid Sriram and this film will mark his debut in music direction. The makers of Vaanam Kottatum are looking to release this film in 2020. The fans are hoping for some refreshing music direction from the composer as he has many chartbusters to his credit. The fans are also excited to see the lead trio on the big screen as there is a lot of curiosity to see what this multi-starrer does at the box office.
